Yes. Tenrec is designed to complement your internal resources. Whether you have a full in-house team or a single point of contact, we will integrate with your processes and work to support your goals. We also offer 1:1 site admin training, system documentation and responsive communication to ensure your team feels empowered and not replaced.

How is this different from a business website hosting service?

Tenrec is much more than a simple hosting company. We provide complete website management services. Our plans include managed hosting, security monitoring, accessibility reviews, performance optimization, SEO, admin training, documentation and strategic consulting.

How do your website management plans differ?

The primary difference between our website management plans is the number of hours and services included in each. The entry level plan is designed for organizations with a well-staffed and proactive marketing team that is capable of managing the non-technical aspects of a digital marketing program. This plan, what we call our Essential Service Plan, augments a client's team with the technical services they are not able to fulfill.

Our mid-level plan (and our most popular offering) is the Site Service Plan. This plan is tailored to organizations with active marketing teams that need additional resources to get the most out of their digital marketing programs.

Our top level plan, the Total Service Plan, is a comprehensive service plan designed for organizations that have very small marketing departments but ambitious marketing goals. This plan is designed to be an alternative for a company considering hiring a full-time website manager in-house.

How do you handle website emergencies?

We have a defined escalation process for critical incidents and downtime. This process is defined in our Service Level Agreement (“SLA”). High severity issues are addressed immediately and typically resolved within two hours.

What’s included in your reporting?

Our reporting includes SEO and website traffic analysis, keyword ranking updates, site health scores, accessibility assessments and competitor insights. SSP and TSP plan subscribers receive quarterly or monthly performance dashboards.

What is the typical wait time for getting on a Tenrec service plan?

Most websites can be migrated within 4 weeks. When moving a client website to Tenrec’s infrastructure, we conduct a thorough site audit and onboarding process to establish the site’s performance and compliance baseline and to identify any critical issues.
